1. Introduction

The website https://www.veselaterapie.com (the “Website”) uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure proper functionality and to analyse Website traffic.

The Website is operated through the Wix.com Ltd. platform, Nemal St. 40, 6350671 Tel Aviv, Israel. Wix acts as a data processor and may set technical cookies necessary for the operation of the Website and booking system. Israel is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection.

This document explains which cookies we use, for what purposes, on what legal basis, and how you can manage your consent.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the Website to remember certain information about your visit.

a) Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for the technical operation of the Website (e.g. proper content loading, security or operation of the Wix booking system).

Legal basis:
Section 89 of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications (Czech Republic).

Essential cookies do not require your consent.

b) Analytical cookies (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 provided by Google Ireland Limited.

Purpose:
Website traffic analysis and improvement of content.

Processed data may include in particular:

  • device and browser information,

  • information about user behaviour on the Website,

  • approximate geographic location.

The IP address is processed only temporarily to determine approximate geographic location and is not stored or made accessible to the Data Controller.

Data is processed in a pseudonymised form.

Legal basis:
Consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 89 of Act No. 127/2005 Coll.

Analytical cookies are not activated before consent is granted.

Retention period:
Data collected via Google Analytics is stored for a maximum of 14 months according to the current service settings.

4. Transfers to third countries

In connection with Google Analytics, personal data may be transferred to the United States.

Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission are also used where applicable.

5. Social media links

The Website contains links to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn profiles.

These links do not themselves set cookies. After visiting the respective platform, its own privacy and cookie policies apply.

6. Consent to cookies

Upon your first visit to the Website, a cookie banner is displayed.

By clicking “Accept all”, you consent to the use of analytical cookies.
By clicking “Essential only”, only technical cookies remain active.

Consent is voluntary and not a condition for using the Website.

You may withdraw or modify your consent at any time via the “Change cookie settings” link in the Website footer.

7. Managing cookies via browser settings

You may also delete or block cookies through your browser settings.

8. Consent management (Usercentrics)

We use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform (Usercentrics GmbH, Germany) to manage cookie consents.

This tool stores technical information about granted or withdrawn consent in order to demonstrate compliance with GDPR obligations.

Consent records are stored for 12 months.
